"[...] Vittoria Ecclesia and Kristi Kapten demonstrated excellent ensemble playing and effective, sharp-witted theatricality in the three movements ("Taurus", "Scorpio", "Fish") of Stockhausen's "Tierkreis" for clarinet and piano. Ecclesia also performed in the concert's finale, a work for voice and clarinet by the Arab-American composer Mohammed Fairouz, Tahwidah. It was a captivating dialogue between Ksenia Rossari's expansive soprano and the clarinet's sustained micro-interval melodies. [...]"
